Personal Information. We collect only the nonpublic personal information needed to process your education requests efficiently and at the highest standard of service. In the course of business we may collect the following nonpublic personal information about you:
    Name, address, email, and telephone number - all education request forms located on our site;
    Academic status, Level of education attained, Academic background, and Education objectives –     college and admission forms;
    Professional license, Area of practice, State accreditation – from continuing education form.

BeEducated allows you to determine how you wish to be contacted. Your name and email address will be forwarded to education providers that can best assist you. You can decide when completing your education request whether to authorize disclosure of your telephone number and/or mailing address. All other information such as academic status, professional license will be forwarded to inform the education provider what services to offer you.
(Note: When requesting materials/brochures by mail from a specific education provider, your mailing address will be provided.)

BeEducated will require of any company receiving such information a contractual agreement that prohibits the education provider from disclosing or using the information for any purpose other than carrying out the education purposes requested by you.

We may also disclose information we collect about you under other circumstances as required by law. BeEducated will abide by any orders or warrants issued by a US Court of Law.

Use of Cookies. As to your use of our site, to ensure that we are publishing content our visitors need and want, BeEducated collects aggregated site-visitation statistics using cookies. We do not track individuals use of the site.

When someone visits the site, a cookie is placed on the visitor’s hard drive (if the visitor accepts cookies) or is read if the visitor has used the site previously.

Web beacons, also known as clear gif technology or action tags, assist in delivering the cookie. This technology tells us how many visitors clicked on key elements (such as links or graphics) on a BeEducated.com Web page. We do not use this technology to access your personally identifiable information on BeEducated.com; it is a tool we use to compile aggregated statistics about BeEducated.com Web site usage.
